10,000 Followers in 3 Months: A Comprehensive Guide on How to Grow on LinkedIn from 100 Followers

Every student, entrepreneur, and business personnel are now tied in one community, i.e., LinkedIn. It is a business and employment-focused social media platform that works on websites and mobile apps. The social media site is growing daily and has become a career development platform for many job seekers. It is a social media platform because here, you can approach colleagues and employers and create a safe community while interacting with each other.

Many of us often confuse followers and the connection as the same things. So, first, let’s understand the prime difference between followers and connections. Connection intentionally requests others to add people of similar interests for mutual benefit. Either you send or receive the connection request, and after the approval, we connect with each other.

However, followers are different; those requests do not need the other person’s confirmation; we follow them because their content is engaging and reflects your interest. The number of followers represents our credibility on the platform. Now, let’s dive into the main gist of today’s topic, i.e., increasing the number of LinkedIn from 100 followers to 10,000 followers within three months. It is a challenging task but an undoubtedly possible one; here are a few of the tips and tricks that you can follow monthly:

First Month

At first, we will have to select the niche we want to work on our LinkedIn profile. Your interest, what is it you want to share content about? And who is your target audience? After we get answers to these questions, we need to change a few LinkedIn profile settings. We will enable creator mode, making our profile more interactive and accessible. Let’s follow the steps:

  1. Go to your LinkedIn profile and scroll down to your dashboard; you will see the option to Creator Mode; enable it there.
  2. Now, we can see a dialogue box that offers us to use five hashtags related to your industry. Do thorough research on your niche and use hashtags will the most followers.
  3. Go to the profile photo edit section and add a professional picture, or you can upload a 30-section short video on your profile. While editing the profile section, don’t forget the cover image; keep it specific that reflect your interest.

Now that we have turned on creators’ mode, creating content is the first thing to do. However, we won’t be doing that. Initially, we will generate credibility on LinkedIn by commenting on other people’s posts. Yeah, have you noticed that on the comment section of celebrity social media posts or any influencer post, people share their opinion and discuss and argue in the comment section while also getting like on their comments? Is there any benefit of those likes?

Yes, there is. So, let’s say we are looking at an influencer’s profile. We read their post and then share our views, such as commenting on their mistakes, giving suggestions, sharing our experience or explaining what we understood from their content.

These types of comments can get the attention of the influencer and others surfing through or following them. They will like your comment if they agree or argue if they disagree. Here you can discuss with them and understand what the audience believes and searches for content related to digital marketing. Those who like your comment will go through your profile, follow you and try to connect with you. And all this happens without your posting any content on your page.

Second Month

Now that we have created credibility on LinkedIn through comments, we will create original posts on our page. After commenting on others’ posts and understanding the view of your potential audience. You have gained a rough idea of what they like and don’t like in content related to your niche. So, here are two content types which are mostly preferred by LinkedIn audience:

1. Educational Content

These contents teach people and educate them something while also reducing their time to research the topic. No one wants to waste their time reading pages on the internet about something when they can get researched content on a single page. Be that page on LinkedIn and provide people with quality and original content.

2. Personalized Content

People like to connect with others; our personal experience can help them resonate with us more; when they feel connected, they are more likely to trust us. These followers are our loyal followers who will help us gain more followers.

Third Month

We must steadily follow the first and second steps in the third month. Post content daily and engage with your audience regularly. Talk them through, tag influencers or mention them on LinkedIn that are already established and have created credibility in the community. We can access their audience without actually following or getting connected with them. Therefore, at last, we need to become consistent and follow the trend on LinkedIn to reach 10,000 followers in 3 months.

We can grow on LinkedIn within 3 months from 100 to 10,000 followers by following the right strategies. Be open to your audience’s criticism, interact with them, and build a community. Finally, remain consistent and patient; rushing can lead to mistakes which should be avoided at any cost.
